The mother of Gabby Petito has received a psychic reading which informed her that her daughter's killer wanted to apologise.
Grieving mum Nichole Schmidt met with celebrity medium Jonathan Mark on the most recent episode of his hit podcast, where she allegedly received the chilling message from the man who took her 22-year-old daughter's life.
What happened to Gabby Petito?
In 2021, New York-born high school graduate and pharmacy technician Gabby set off on a four-month road-trip around the US with her fiancé, Brian Laundrie.

After three weeks, however, Gabby's family filed a report with the police claiming not to have heard from her for several days.
Gabby's mother Nichole then began receiving unusual texts from her daughter's phone, which reportedly did not match her usual style of communication.
It was around this time that Brian suddenly returned in Gabby's recently-purchased Ford Transit Connect van to his Florida family home without her, claiming she'd 'gone'.
Investigating officers soon discovered that, earlier in their trip through the Southwest, the couple had been pulled over by police after witnesses observed a physical altercation unfolding between Gabby and Brian at a rest-stop.

An arrest warrant for Brian was subsequently issued, after which he fled his family home and was reported missing.
In the days that followed, Gabby's remains were tragically discovered in Wyoming's Bridger-Teton National Forest, with an autopsy revealing blunt-force injuries to her head and neck had killed her, as well as manual strangulation.
Brian's body was then discovered days later in Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park, and it was quickly established that he'd died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

His notebook was also recovered from close to his body, in which he admitted to his crime.
Brian Laundrie's message to Gabby's family
Three years on from her daughter's tragic death, Nicole has received a reading from big-name psychic Jonathan Mark, who informed her that Brian was attempting to send her a message.
"Brian Laundrie is one hundred percent trying to come through," he told her on the podcast. "But Gabby is not letting him come through.

"I don’t want him coming through either, if I’m being honest with you. Unless you want him to, I’m not going to let him come through."
Nichole replied: "If he has something to say, I’d like to hear it."
It was then than Jonathan claimed Brian was attempting to say sorry for his crime.

"It’s more of an apology," he said. "I will say."
Nichole than claimed to have forgiven Brian, a notion she has explained before.
Speaking at CrimeCon earlier this year, she admitted: "I speak for myself here when I say Brian, I forgive you.
"I needed to release myself from the chains of anger and bitterness, and I refuse to let your despicable act define the rest of my life."
