Gabby Petito's mum has shared an explosive theory about how she thinks Brian Laundrie died in a bombshell new interview.
In 2021, travel vlogger Gabby Petito went missing during a road trip with her fiancé, Brian Laundrie.
Alarm bells were raised when Brian returned from the trip alone at his Florida home, and refused to speak to Gabby's family and police about where she was.

Almost a month later, on 19 September 2021, Gabby's remains were discovered in a National Forest in Wyoming. An autopsy report confirmed that she died by homicide by 'blunt-force injuries to the head and neck with manual strangulation.'
After police issued a warrant for Brian's arrest, he disappeared. His body was later found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound and in a journal entry found next to his body, he admitted to killing his fiancée.
More than three years on, Gabby's mother Nichole Schmidt has shared her theories about his death during a new appearance on The Squeeze podcast, hosted by actor Taylor Lautner and his wife Tay.

Schmidt revealed: "I will say straightforward, I don't think he killed himself. I think either his father or [his mother] did. That's just my opinion, it's not a fact, it's an opinion."
And when Lautner asked why she believed Laundrie's parents would have wanted to kill him, she responded: "Better than going to jail and facing what you did. That's the only thing I can come up with in my mind.

"The way you read [his mother's] burn-after-reading letter and just the weirdness that [his parents] are, I don't find it implausible. I think it's very possible that they did something."

Nichole also explained why doesn't think Laundrie would've killed himself.
"If you read the stuff he wrote in his notebook, he kind of made up excuses," she said. "He didn't want to take responsibility, so why then would he take his own life? He was a coward. It's just a gut feeling that I have."
Elsewhere in the interview, she also spoke out about 'new information' she'd recently received.

"There was [someone] that was at the house when Brian was missing – and I would say he was hiding, he wasn’t missing, but he was actually dead – but his room was completely gutted and renovated. None of his things were there anymore. It was gone.
"So that very same week, Gabby was missing and cops were going to their house to try to get, I guess, a scent from their dogs to look for Brian, all his things were gone. The room was completely empty, just gone.
"I mean, I don’t understand, I don’t get it. Just strange behaviour."
The Laundrie’s lawyer, Steven Bertolino, declined to comment when approached by Tyla.
