The family of a 22-year-old police officer who died while on holiday in Corfu have spoken out in tribute to her.
On Friday (1 September), PC Hannah Byrne passed away while on holiday in the village of Kavos, in Corfu, Greece.
The 22-year-old was a serving member of Surrey Police's Neighbourhood Policing Team in Reigate, but was off duty at the time of her passing.

Her death is being investigated by authorities in Greece.
Greek authorities report Byrne was discovered by a member of the public on Friday morning having sustained a head injury.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death has been confirmed by Darren Pemble, the chair of the Surrey Police Federation - a membership Staff Association representing all police officers.

CCTV footage is being reviewed by Greek authorities and a post-mortem has taken place, as per Surrey Live.
Chief medical officer Yannis Aivatidis told The Mirror Byrne's death is believed to have been the result of 'an accident'.
Pemble noted how 'devastated' the federation is by the news of Byrne's passing, adding: "The thoughts of all at Surrey Police Federation are with the officer’s family, friends and close colleagues at this time.
"Both the Federation and the force are supporting them."

The 22-year-old's family paid tribute to the young officer yesterday (4 September).
Issued through the police, Byrne's family's statement reads: "Our beloved Hannah was beautiful inside and out. She was extremely kind, funny, caring and had a real zest for life.
"She will be greatly missed by all who loved her."

Chief superintendent Chris Colley, the divisional commander for East Surrey, also released a statement on behalf of the police.
He said: "Hannah's death has been a shock for everyone who knew her.
"She was a bright, enthusiastic and respected officer just at the start of her career in policing and she will be sadly missed.

"As a force, we are now doing everything we can to support her family and her colleagues at this extremely difficult time."
A spokesperson for the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office said, as per the BBC: "We are supporting the family of a British woman who has died in Greece and are in contact with the local authorities."
