Singer and television presenter, Jane McDonald, has admitted she'll never get over the grief of losing her fiancé, Eddie Rothe, to lung cancer.
Jane, 61, lost Eddie - her partner of 15 years - in 2021 when he was aged just 67.
During an interview with Best magazine, Jane opened up about her loss, admitting she was 'so lucky' to meet Eddie.

She said: "I went out with a rock and roll star who was like an Adonis and then later I got the best of him.
"He was just lovely in every way - for me, he was the perfect fit. You never get over it - I'm not going to lie and say, 'Oh yes, I'm fine', because I'm not. You go through stages."
She continued: "You're angry. All your plans are gone. You thought you were going to grow old together but... And remember I had Ed and my mother gone within two years - and you think - 'what do I do now?'"

Jane lost her mother, Jean, in 2018.
During a Loose Women panel earlier this month, Jane opened up further about the tragic losses, noting that she'd bring her mother and partner back 'in a heartbeat' if it were possible.
She added: "You've got to realise that life goes on and I want to live. I love life. We don't know how many days we've got and Ed died very young. I want to just do everything I want to do. I'm moving forward and taking them with me.
"As daft as it sounds, I’m thankful it was during Covid because I was there with him. Nobody else was. But that was the hardest thing. I had no nurses or doctors come in. I had to learn how to do it all myself."

She continued: "I had him at home as long as I could. Then I took him to the Wakefield Hospice, which is a beautiful place. I’ll be forever grateful to them. I was with him all the time there."
Following Ed's passing, a friend shared the news on Jane's Instagram page.
They wrote: "It is with immense sadness that we share the news that Jane’s beloved long term partner, Ed, passed away on Friday 26th March. He had been battling lung cancer for the last few months. We would like to thank everyone for all their help and support during this very difficult time, especially the NHS staff and the wonderful team at The Wakefield Hospice. The funeral took place earlier today and we would please ask for your kindness in observing Jane’s privacy for her and Ed’s family at this sad time."
