Depp took to the stand once again in the sixth week of the trial to provide further evidence about their relationship.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star was faced with revisiting text messages Depp sent to Christian Carino.
Depp attempted to explain why he used the strong language in the texts and said it was due to the ‘ugly’ things he was being accused of.
When Depp’s lawyer Camille Vasquez asked him about the texts during redirect questioning, he testified: “When you’re accused of horrific acts and things you have not done, it’s actually some very ugly things that are going out there into the world about you on a nonstop basis by Ms. Heard and her team, you have a tendency, as humans, to get very irate and angry."

He added: “Not to the point where you go out and hurt someone, not to the point even where you assault a cabinet, but you do get irate. You do wonder why this person is doing this to me”.
On Wednesday (25 May) Depp’s lawyers called his ex-girlfriend Kate Moss to testify remotely to explain the truth behind the staircase incident in Jamaica.
The supermodel, 48, who is known remaining private regarding her relationships, dated Depp between 1994 and 1998.

They went on holiday to Jamaica during their relationship and Moss explained she fell down some stairs after a rainstorm after Heard mentioned this incident when explaining why she allegedly punched her Depp.
Heard spoke to the court about an alleged fight in March 2015 in which she claimed she punched Depp in the face over fears he would push her sister Whitney Heard down the stairs and mentioned a rumour stating that Depp had done the same to Moss.
Depp is suing Heard in a $50 million (£40.1million) defamation lawsuit over abuse claims she made in a piece for The Washington Post in 2018.
