More than £150,000 has been raised to bring home a paralysed teenager who was kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend in September 2020.
Angel Lynn, who was 19 at the time, fell from a van going at 60mph in Leicestershire after she was kidnapped by her ex, leaving her paralysed with catastrophic brain injuries.
The attack was carried out by Angel's ex-boyfriend, Chay Bowskill, and his friend, Rocco Sansome, who were both 20 at the time.

Doctors told Angel's family to prepare for the worst in the aftermath of the assault that saw her unable to walk, talk or eat independently.
But against the odds, she is recovering and now her family are crowdfunding to bring her home to continue her recovery.
Angel's cousin, Fahren Davis, wrote on the GoFundMe page: "What we would like to do is raise as much money as possible to aid Angel's recovery with anything she needs.
"In order for Angel to return home she will need a lot of equipment to help her rehabilitation.

"Please help to get Angel home by raising as much money possible for Angel to give her the help she deserves."
At the time of writing, the GoFundMe has raised over £153,000 and counting.
Angel's mother, Nikki Lynn, 47, said that after the accident, she feared that she'd never get to embrace her daughter again.

However, in April of this year, Angel began 'tapping' her mother.
Nikki told The Mirror: "She just put her hand straight around my back and started tapping me."
"She didn't hug much before, she was a typical teenager, but she would give you a hug if you were upset. It's very special to have that hug now."
Angel's family hope to build an adapted extension for the now 21-year-old so that she can live as independent a life as possible after her ordeal.

She is currently living at the the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham, but she goes home daily to spend time with her family.
Nikki told Leicester Live: "I pick her up every day and bring her home. She's doing so much better than she was and we're just so grateful for the help we've received so far.
"We've taken her to Twin Lakes and Twycross Zoo. She fed the animals and she's even helped me peg the washing out."

Angel is now learning how to write again and has even attempted to move her wheelchair independently with her foot.
Her ex-boyfriend was initially sentenced to seven years behind bars for kidnap, controlling and coercive behaviour and perverting the course of justice.
This was increased to 12 years after an appeal from Angel's family.
Bowskill forced Angel into a van with the help of his accomplice, Sansome, before she was found with her devastating injuries.
