A man who lost his 'soulmate' when she tragically died 10 days after giving birth to his baby boy has paid an emotional tribute to his late partner.
Mum-of-two Krystal Pitt sadly passed away at the age of 24, less than two weeks after welcoming her second child, who was four weeks premature.

Her partner Brayden Yates, 28, will now raise the two children on his own.
The tragic moment took place when the young couple from Australia had been queuing up at a post office after visiting their newborn in the neonatal intensive care unit in Perth Children’s Hospital.
Whilst lining up, Krystal told Brayden that her chest hurt.
"I had her sit down and then pretty quick, she had a cardiac event," he recalled.

Brayden called emergency services, before performing CPR and then setting up a defibrillator in a desperate attempt to save Krystal's life, before the ambulance arrived at the scene.
Krystal was later placed into a medically-induced coma, with her condition quickly declining before she passed away in hospital.
“To have the family under one roof was something we really looked forward to,” Yates told 7NEWS.com.au.

“Krystal had been applying for rentals for eight months. It was something she had worked really hard to provide for us.”
“We had spoken before she fell sick about losing loved ones and wanting to make the most of everything — live life to the fullest,” he said.
“I want to put out that encouraging message to cherish life and help others. I would just like to express my gratitude to everyone for their ongoing support throughout this difficult time.
“We feel your love and I’m sure you all know that Krystal would be extremely grateful.”

Brayden's family is now currently raising funds to cover the costs of Krystal's funeral alongside the two children's care.
Set up by Brayden's mother Kirsty, the GoFundMe page reads: "11 days ago my son and his beautiful partner Krystal welcomed a beautiful baby boy, 4 weeks early.
"Little man is still in NICU gaining his strength to come home to his Father and 14-month-old sister.

"On top of the challenges ahead with little man, his beautiful Mum, Krystal had a medical episode that lead to her being placed in an induced coma."
It continues: "Sadly, she passed away, leaving Brayden the sole carer for my two beautiful grand babies.
"Any contributions made will go towards helping Brayden and the children with a service for their Mum and ongoing costs with raising the children."
At the time of writing, AUD $20,480 has been raised out of the $25,000 goal since it was first created earlier this month.
