One Direction bandmate Louis Tomlinson shared a touching picture with Liam Payne which 'summed up' their relationship.
Tributes to Payne have flooded in from every corner of the world, after he died falling from a third floor balcony at hotel CasaSur in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 16.
His former One Direction bandmates have shared their heartache with fans, and Tomlinson was the first of the four stars to release a statement in honour of their 'brother'.

He has posted multiple pictures of the two sharing the stage since Payne's passing, but one in particular he said, 'summed up' their relationship.
In the latter years of the band, Payne and Tomlinson became the two most mischievous on stage during their shows.
They would have water fights in front of thousands, whilst performing all their hit songs - completely drenching one another, and most probably catching the other boys in the process.

Fans loved getting an insight into their brotherly relationship whilst attending their worldwide tours, and they equally loved putting on a show.
Tomlinson shared the picture of the two both soaked after pouring bottles full of juice everywhere, all whilst looking like the happiest two people on earth.
He captioned the post: "This picture summed up our relationship.

"I love you, I'll always be your big brother."
Tomlinson was the eldest member of One Direction, having been 19 when he was a contestant on the X Factor.
Payne was 16 when he joined the band on the show, but had auditioned previously when he was just 14.
In his heartbreaking statement, Tomlinson wrote: "I am beyond devastated to be writing this but yesterday I lost a brother.

"I first met Liam when he was 16 and I was 18, I was instantly amazed by his voice but more importantly as time went on I got a chance to see the kind brother I’d longed all my life for."
The star added that he would be there for Payne's son Bear, if he ever needed a reminder of how 'amazing' his dad was.
He continued: "I want you to know that if Bear ever needs me I will be the Uncle he needs in his life and tell him stories of how amazing his dad was.
"I wish I got chance to say goodbye and tell you one more time how much I loved you.
