A couple have been arrested during an American Airlines flight after a flight attendant noticed the man's bleeding head.
The incident took place on Monday (19 August) when Eugenio Ernesto Hernandez-Garnier, 27, and Yusleydis Blanca Loyola, 32, were flying home to Las Vegas from Miami.
As the couple boarded the plane, the crew noticed that Hernandez-Garnier was bleeding from his head and had a 'bloody bandage' around his wound, Local 10 reports.

Miami-Dade police explained how Hernandez-Garnier was asked by the flight attendants to clean up the blood and replace his bandages, but he said he did not have any clean bandages.
Crew members then reportedly asked the passenger 'multiple times' to get off the plane due to concerns over both his medical condition as well as 'body fluid contamination' caused by a hair transplant.
At this point, both Hernandez-Garnier and Loyola allegedly refused to leave the plane and said: "If they could not fly, no one else can either."

Loyola also reportedly shared a video of the ordeal to TikTok where she can be heard yelling that Hernandez-Garnier had just had surgery.
Police explained that the couple were warned they would be arrested for 'trespassing' after being given a warning, but are accused of still refusing to disembark.
"After a brief moment of resisting to be handcuffed, they were subsequently placed under arrest," the outlet states.

Because of the couple's alleged refusal to leave, all the other remaining passengers onboard were forced to leave too which ultimately caused the flight to be delayed
The pair were consequently taken to the Jackson West Medical Centre in Florida where Hernandez-Garnier was evaluated for the bleeding before being transported to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
In a statement to Local 10, police said: "After a brief moment of resisting to be handcuffed, they were subsequently placed under arrest."
American Airlines has also since confirmed the incident.

"Law enforcement responded and removed both customers from the aircraft.
"We thank our crew members for their professionalism and apologise to our customers for the inconvenience."
