Meghan Markle has been praised for making a sweet comment to a royal aide after greeting some of Queen Elizabeth's mourners.
Prince Harry's wife made the comment as she completed a walkabout outside Windsor Castle with her husband where they greeted royal fans.
Many of the fans had brought flowers to pay tribute to the late Queen, who passed away on Thursday (September 8) at the age of 96.

One of the well wishers gave their flowers to Meghan, who promised that she would lay them at a gate on their behalf.
When a Royal aide offered to do it for Meghan, she politely declined and said that she wanted to keep her word to the mourners.
She said: "I told them I'd place them over there so it's OK. Thank you. I appreciate it though."
The comment did not go unnoticed on social media.

Reacting to the sweet gesture, one fan wrote: "So lovely."
"She's so kind!" added a second while a third remarked: "Meghan being so gracious and kind both to the well wisher who asked her to place the flowers there and to that intrusive staffer. She handled that with grace."

News of the sweet comment comes as Prince Harry and Meghan released a statement about the Queen's death today (September 12).
It read: "In celebrating the life of my grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen - and in mourning her loss - we are all reminded of the guiding compass she was to so many in her commitment to service and duty.
"She was globally admired and respected. Her unwavering grace and dignity remained true throughout her life and now her everlasting legacy."
Harry and Meghan continued: "Let us echo the words she spoke after the passing of her husband, Prince Philip, words which can bring comfort to all of us now: 'Life, of course, consists of final partings as well as first meetings'.

"Granny, while this final parting brings us great sadness, I am forever grateful for all of our first meetings - from my earliest childhood memories with you, to meeting you for the first time as my Commander-in-Chief, to the first moment you met my darling wife and hugged your beloved great-grandchildren.
"I cherish these times shared with you, and the many other special moments in between. You are already sorely missed, not just by us, but by the world over. And as it comes to first meetings, we now honour my father in his new role as King Charles III."
