Nando’s has launched a brand new line of cocktails across restaurants in the UK, and they sound nothing short of DELICIOUS.
While the weather isn’t exactly doing much for our Great British summer right now, we can at least turn to the sunny flavours of brighter times, thanks to a new cocktail range at beloved chicken chain Nando’s.
Sure, it might not be quite as good as sipping on a poolside piña colada, but against the current grey backdrop, we’ll take what we can get at this stage.

And they’re not just any cocktails, either... they’re frozen slushies!
Perfect for anyone who loves the icy refreshment of frozen drinks - or for those who struggle with the chilli heat of Nando’s chicken, of course.
The new cocktails are the PERi-cante and Sunset Slushie, which are ‘designed to complement Nando’s iconic menu items’.

The PERI-cante is made from vodka, smoky mezcal, tangy lime and a hint of chilli, while the Sunset Slushie is a mix of vanilla vodka, peach liqueur and juicy pineapple and mango - both whizzed up into a delicious frozen slushie.
Nando’s said the new drinks are currently being trialled for customers eating in at a number of select UK restaurants for a limited time only.
However, fingers crossed the pilot goes well and the drinks not only become permanent fixtures on the menu, but also rolled out nationwide.
Cocktails have been on the wish list for Nando’s fans for years, with many begging the chain to add them to the menu permanently.

In a tweet from 2021 that has more than 11,000 likes, one person said: “Nando’s could be so superior if they just started serving cocktails.”
And it’s a topic that has cropped up online countless times over the years, with another saying: “If Nando’s did cocktails that will be a game changer tho.”
A third agreed: “Nando’s would be so much more enjoyable if they added cocktails to the menu.”

A fourth said: “If Nando’s did cocktails it would be OVER for everyone. That’s when real competition will start.”
Rumours began to circulate that they were finally coming when a photo of a Nando’s menu surfaced online.
Above the two new frozen cocktail choices, which both come in 190ml classes and range from 7-7.7 percent ABV, it said: “Cocktails. That’s it.”

It also showed the new addition of draught Sagres, meaning it looks like chicken fans can also get their lips around a pint of Portugal’s ‘favourite golden lager’.
Nando’s new frozen cocktails will be available at: Kings Cross, Westfield Stratford City, Brighton (Marina), Salford Quays, Crawley, Liverpool (ONE), Hull (Princess Quay), Birmingham (Selly Oak), Wolverhampton (Bentley Bridge), Battersea and Waterloo Station.
