After a TikTok boss who was just 38 got the devastating news he'd been diagnosed with stage four cancer, here are the symptoms you need to look out for with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
Govind Sandhu thought he just had flu or Covid after experiencing 'really bad body aches and sweats' the day after running a half marathon.
Speaking on social media yesterday (12 June), Sandhu - who is Head of Global Music Partnerships at TikTok - explained: "Over a four week period I just deteriorated.

"After multiple doctor visits, blood tests, ultrasounds, CT scans, PET scans, tissue biopsies and blood work they were able to get a pretty good comprehensive overview."
He explained the medics had faced complications during their investigations 'as they found some abnormalities just above his pancreas and on his heart'. However he added that if cancer is found then he will start 'aggressive' chemotherapy.
He also told viewers he'd be keeping them updated on his health journey which he described as 'the biggest challenge of his life yet'.

He also urged viewers as he shared: "So go get your check ups, go get your blood work done. If you're feeling sick don't just try and fight it off. But we're going to get through this."
The symptoms of non-Hodgkin lymphoma
According to the NHS website, the most common symptom of non-Hodgkin lymphoma is finding a painless swelling in a lymph node, usually in the neck, armpit or groin.
While these lymph nodes can often swell due to an infection or when the body is fighting illness, it can also sometimes be a non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

Other symptoms of non-Hodgkin lymphoma can include night sweats, unintentional weight loss, persistent tiredness or fatigue and a high temperature or fever.
Some people have also got feelings of breathlessness and persistent itching of the skin all over the body.
The NHS website also adds: "See a GP if you have any of the symptoms on this page, particularly if you have swollen glands that do not go away after 6 weeks.
"While these symptoms are unlikely to be caused by non-Hodgkin lymphoma, it's best to get them checked out."

Sandhu, meanwhile, has vowed to remain positive in the wake of his cancer diagnosis.
He wrote: "Long road ahead, but this won’t be the end of my story, it can’t be! I’m 38 years old, lived the most blessed life to date & have so much more to live for.
"Reality is, I have a chance to fight this f**%%* so I’ll take the W there. Life is beautiful, I am lucky & grateful for what I have. The mission continues."
