People have noticed that Olympic divers tend to take a quick dip in a hot tub between each dive - and there's an interesting reason behind it.
Hot tubs are commonly used purely for relaxation, but at the Olympics, their use is slightly more practical.
Team GB's divers Tom Daley and Noah Williams have both won silver medals so far this year's Paris 2024 Olympic Games, but fans noticed them taking a little minute to themselves in between their dives.

And it's rumoured to be an important part of their diving routine.
Tom couldn't look more grateful for his first efforts at the games, and was immediately seen gazing adoringly to his family in the stands.
It included a rare appearance from his American filmmaker husband Dustin Lance Black, and their two sons, Robert, now six, and Phoenix, 16-months, both of whom they welcomed via surrogacy.

Despite having several conversations about keeping their children out of the public eye, it was adorable to see them make an appearance to support their 'papa'.
But fans were confused after seeing the divers relaxing in the hot tub after performing their dives - however, the reason behind it has now finally been cleared up.
It has been reported that the divers jump into the hot tub in order to warm up after each dive and prepare for their next jump into the water.

The hot tub is also away from the crowds, giving them a minute to get their head back in the game and focus their minds.
It's also just part of the routine, and changing this at the actual competition would be detrimental to their performance.
The Olympic arena is also often air conditioned, and that can't be nice after diving into a cold pool.

Their muscles can also become tense and cramp up, so the hot tub is the helping hand they need to avoid this happening.
But it's not the only thing they do to help prevent this after their dive.
They also hop in a quick shower, the aim of which is to stop the contestants from picking up an unwanted injury.
The shower also helps to keep muscles loose.
