Celebrities have spoken out about 'escaping' the US in light of Donald Trump becoming president.
Earlier this week, Donald Trump was made 47th president of the US.
His inauguration ceremony - which was attended by a number of celebrities - took place on Monday (20 January), making him the first person convicted of a felony to assume the presidency.

However, just like many other people across the nation, many celebrities have questioned how Trump becoming president will affect them.
And some have even taken the decision to move away from the US in light of Trump's presidency.
We can't help but notice how it is largely women who have made the huge decision.
Here is the full list of confirmed celebrities fleeing from Trump's USA, and those who are seriously considering it.
Eva Longoria

Longoria was one of the first to share that she has left the US, as she now splits her time between Spain and Mexico.
The actress told Marie Claire of Trump’s plans: “If he keeps his promises, it’s going to be a scary place.”
“I’m privileged,” she added. “I get to escape and go somewhere.
“Most Americans aren’t so lucky. They’re going to be stuck in this dystopian country, and my anxiety and sadness is for them.”
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi

The former talk show host has now moved to the UK with her wife, vowing that they will ‘never return’ since Trump’s election.
An anonymous source close to the couple told The Wrap that the pair are living in the Cotswolds and have no intention of heading back to America, particularly not while Trump remains in charge.
America Ferrera

The actress is reportedly looking for schools in London for her children, and has relocated her family to the UK.
A source told the Daily Mail: "She is going to continue to have a presence in the US for work purposes and to fight for Latinas and women, but she will be overseas for family and to benefit her kids' education.
"She wants them to have the best opportunities possible and to her, being overseas for that is what is important."
"She's not abandoning the US, she is prioritizing her life and focusing on the importance for her kids."
Barbra Streisand

The fantastic singer and actress previously shared with Stephen Colbert that she absolutely would not live in the US if Trump returned to power.
And now that he is officially back in office, only time will tell.
She claimed: "I would move. I can't live here under an administration like that."
Laverne Cox
The OITNB star shared similar feelings to Streisand and revealed that she has plans to move to Europe or even the Caribbean now that Trump is in office.
She told Variety: "As a public figure, with all my privilege, I’m scared, and I’m particularly scared because I’m a public figure. I feel like I could be targeted. I think they spent close to $100 million on anti-trans ads. It’s deeply concerning."
Cher
Cher initially planned on moving in 2016 when Trump first won, and in an interview with the Guardian she vowed to relocate if he was elected for a second term.
However, a source told the Daily Mail she's since decided to stay, explaining she and her boyfriend Alexander Edwards 'have their life together here'.
They added: "They both have family and children. She's infuriated by the outcome, but she also knows that running will not solve anything."
Sharon Stone
Stone, like many, had plans to leave for a brighter future in light of the new administration.
She told the Daily Mail last year: "I am certainly considering a house in Italy. I think that's an intelligent construct at this time."
However, an insider suggested she'd had a change of heart, telling RadarOnline Stone 'isn't a quitter and is actually a patriotic person – no matter what direction she thinks the country is heading in'.
Minnie Driver
The British actress has said she'd find it difficult to return to the US under a Trump administration, after living in LA for decades.
Asked by The Times if she'd ever return to the country under Trump, she appeared to be in two minds, saying: "If I lived in a red [Republican] state, no, I couldn’t. But living in California, you are somewhat insulated.
"But do you want to go and live in a bubble? Do you run away from the fire or do you go back and help."
Vivian Wilson
Elon Musk's trans daughter has spoken out online about her wish to leave the US too, regardless of her father’s political affiliation to Trump.
She wrote on Threads: "I don’t see my future being in the United States.
“Even if he’s only in office for 4 years, even if the anti-trans regulations magically don’t happen, the people who willingly voted this in are not going anywhere anytime soon."
