Donald Trump has started selling caps for his hypothetical 2028 run for presidency, and people have had some strong reactions, with some hinting that if he can do it, maybe other past Presidents can.
The Trump organisation has listed red hats on their website which are available to purchase, embroidered with 'Trump 2028' on the back.
But perhaps the 78-year-old is getting ahead of himself, given he's only a few months into his second term - and more importantly, the fact that it's a direct violation of the Constitution for a President to run for more than two terms.

The hats are currently listed for $50, with the description: "The future looks bright! Rewrite the rules with the Trump 2028 high crown hat.
"Fully embroidered with a snap closure in the back, this will become your new go-to hat."
But it's not the only piece of apparel that the organisation are trying to flog.
There are also shirts on site, for $36, which state: "Rewrite the rules."
When the White House press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, was asked by NBC news to comment on the merch, she said: "It’s a cool hat and I suspect it will be highly popular!"

But Democrats have started to respond to Trump's grand plans to run for a third term as president.
Supporters of Barack Obama, the 44th president of America, have started to share a cap with 'Obama 2028' embroidered on the front.
One user on X said: "Can't wait to see Barack Obama vs. Donald Trump."
Another added: "OBAMA 2028 is trending in response to Trump 2028 Merch."

Eric Trump, the president's son, later posted a photo of himself wearing the 'Trump 2028' hat, alongside emails from reporters asking him about the release of the merch, and what it means for America.
The Republican leader has previously addressed the idea of him running for president for a third time, which would currently go against the American constitution.
Responding to NBC News, Trump said: "A lot of people want me to do it."

He added: "But, I mean, I basically tell them we have a long way to go, you know, it's very early in the administration."
The fact is, the president didn't deny that thinking of running again was on his mind.
"I’m not joking," he added.

"But I’m not - it is far too early to think about it."
Despite knowing that the US Constitution currently doesn't allow for a former president to run more than twice, Trump said: "There are methods which you could do it."
