Tom Hanks has left Donald Trump supporters furious after he made a 'Make America Great Again' joke during an appearance at Saturday Night Live this week.
SNL50: The Anniversary Special took place on Sunday evening (16 February) to mark 50 years of Saturday Night Live.
The original sketch had appeared in a 2016 episode of the show, and Republicans were not happy to see it reprised.

In fact, many of them were pretty riled up over the portrayal, finding the sketch offensive to Trump supporters.

Appearing on stage at the show, Hanks reprised his Black Jeopardy character, Doug, wearing a MAGA baseball cap and refusing to shake hands with Darnell Hayes, played by Kenan Thompson.
He also mentions starting a show 'for you to come on', which he calls 'White Jeopardy'.

Many Republicans on social media were quick to criticise the sketch, as one person wrote: “Tom Hanks went on SNL dressed like a slob mocking millions of Trump supporters.... Keep it up libs. You'll never win another election again.”
While another said: “Tom Hanks was just disrespecting every Republican on SNL as he was dressed up as a Trump supporter with a MAGA hat.”
And a third added: "Tom Hanks and SNL thought it would be hilarious for him to put on a MAGA hat and act out a stereotype of half the country in a desperate attempt to cope with Democrats crushing defeat in November. Not surprising no one watches SNL or NBC anymore."

Meanwhile, a fourth said: "After watching Tom Hanks do a sad mockery of me & every other Trump supporter on SNL's 50th anniversary show I know I'll never watch another of his performances or movies."
Tyla has reached out to Hanks' rep for comment.
Another joke that didn't seem to land well with everyone came from Ryan Reynolds.

At the anniversary special, Reynolds could be seen in the audience with wife Blake Lively, before hosts Amy Poehler and Tina Fey give the pair a shout-out.
Reynolds then stands while Poehler exclaims: "Oh, hi, Ryan Reynolds. Ryan Reynolds, how is it going?"
With an awkward expression, Reynolds then replies: "Great... why? What have you heard?" Lively's shocked face then shoots upwards in his direction.
It's believed Reynolds was making a 'joke' about Lively's legal battle with Justin Baldoni, and people couldn't help but notice Kevin Costner's reaction as he sat just a few rows behind Reynolds and Lively.

Costner, who was seen chewing gum, appeared to have somewhat of a disapproving look on his face, noticeably not clapping when Reynolds stood up to deliver the joke, leading many online viewers to comment on the moment.
