Reason why Prince George won’t be going to secondary school next month like most boys his age

Reason why Prince George won’t be going to secondary school next month like most boys his age

It's not yet known where Prince George will be educated next

With September is just around the corner, kids all over the country will be gearing up to start secondary school - but Prince George isn't one of them.

The son of Prince William and Kate Middleton and the future King of England, George is 11-years-old. He is the eldest child of the Prince and Princess of Wales, and is often snapped watching games of football with his dad.

In that way, he's just like a regular soon-to-be teen - but in many other ways, he's worlds apart.

Since September 2022, Prince George has been attending the incredibly prestigious Lambrook school, which costs a pretty penny.

In case you were wondering, if you wanted to send your child to their middle and upper school, where the young royal has been, it'd cost you £8,238 per term.

Though I can't imagine Will and Kate are worried about money.

George's siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, also attend the Berkshire school.

It's certainly fit for a future King, complete with a golf course, swimming pool, theatre and sports centre.

As for why he won't be changing school in September like many other boys his age, Lambrook school keeps students until they reach the age of 13.

It is not known where he will head off to next - though his Dad, Prince Harry and King Charles all attended Eton.

Eton is also known for educating previous Prime Ministers, including Boris Johnson and David Cameron.

The fees there are also a sight to behold, with the website stating they include three payments of £17,583 per year.

Eye-watering, to say the least.

Though it's also been noted that the future King may attend Oundle School in Northamptonshire - one of Britain's best known co-educational boarding and day schools.

Oundle School comes with a hefty fee of £34,000 per year, and was first opened in 1556.

The website states: "We have a responsibility to ensure that every single member of the school community takes both individual and collective action towards environmental sustainability.

"We encourage aspiration and abhor arrogance, nurturing open minds, authentic self-belief and a sense of service.

"We believe that boarding offers the best environment within which to realise these educational ambitions, with day pupils involved fully in the breadth offered by such an education."

Other reports suggest that mum Kate has the wish that George will attend Marlborough College, as she and her siblings did.

Despite this, a source told The Mirror that the school is perhaps too 'flashy', saying: "The 2024 version of Marlborough may be quite different from

They said: "Lots of parents have villas in Ibiza, chalets in Verbier or a private jet, which isn't Kate's style. She prefers understated wealth."
