Prince Harry has paid tribute to his late mother Princess Diana, ahead of the 25th anniversary of her untimely death.
The Duke of Sussex, 37, made the heartfelt tribute at a polo tournament in Colorado yesterday (August 25).

He said that his mother's anniversary on 31 August will be a day 'filled with memories of her incredible work and love for the way she did it'.
"I want it to be a day to share the spirit of my mum with my family, with my children, who I wish could have met her," he continued. "Every day, I hope to do her proud."
Harry's decision to pay tribute to his mum at the event was a poignant one as the tournament was in aid of his charity Sentebale.
Princess Diana herself was well-known for her charity work, and to this day, she is celebrated for breaking the stigma around HIV and AIDS.

Harry said: "My dear friend Prince Seeiso and I founded Sentebale 16 years ago in honour of our mothers, with a mission to support many of the most vulnerable young people on the planet and to give them care and help so they can thrive.
"In Sesotho, the language of the Basotho, the word 'Sentebale' means 'forget-me-not'.
"Next week is the 25th anniversary of my mother's death, and she most certainly will never be forgotten.

"She was tireless in her work to support and destigmatise those experiencing HIV and AIDS.
"Fittingly, her favourite flowers were forget-me-nots. I hope we can remember my mother's legacy by recommitting to those that we serve, whoever and wherever that may be."
Princess Diana died at the age of 36 in a car crash in Paris that also claimed the life of her partner Dodi Fayed and their driver, Henri Paul.

The driver was attempting to flee from the paparazzi at the time of the crash, prompting many questions about press intrusion in the lives of the Royal Family.
Prince Harry ultimately stepped down as a senior royal with his wife Meghan Markle in early 2020.
As reported by the BBC, he told NBC's Today earlier this year that he feels like his mother is 'helping me set up' from the other side.
"Like [Prince William's] got his kids, I've got my kids. You know the circumstances are obviously different. But now I feel her presence in almost everything I do.

"Definitely more so in the last two years than ever before, without question. So she's watching over us,"
