It's no secret that there's been some tensions within the royal family in recent years - specifically between Prince Harry and Meghan, and Prince William and Kate Middleton.
In an interview with Oprah back in 2021, and in Prince Harry's bombshell memoir Spare, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex opened up on some of the issues they had faced prior to stepping back from the royal family and moving to California.
For example, at the time of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding, there were tabloid reports that Meghan made Kate cry in the run-up to the ceremony.

However, Meghan said otherwise, telling Oprah: "I don't think it's fair to her to get into the details, because she apologised. And I've forgiven her."
Harry delved further into what happened in his book, with the father-of-two claiming that his wife-to-be and sister-in-law had a falling out over bridesmaid dresses for Princess Charlotte.
Harry says that Kate complained: "Charlotte's dress is too big, too long, too baggy. She cried when she tried it on a[t] home."
To which Meghan replied: "Right, and I told you the tailor has been standing by since 8am. Here. At KP. Can you take Charlotte to have it altered, as the other mums are doing?"

However, Kate reportedly disagreed, saying: "No, all the dresses need to be remade."
Referring to the issues Meghan was having with her father at the time, Harry added: "Meg asked if Kate was aware of what was going on right now. With her father. Kate said she was well aware, but the dresses. And the wedding is in four days!"

To which Meghan snapped back: "Yes, Kate, I know... "
Harry recalls Meghan telling Kate: "I'm not sure what else to say. If the dress doesn't fit then please take Charlotte to see Ajay. He's been waiting all day," to which Kate reportedly replies: "Fine."
After returning home to the aftermath of the disagreement, Harry says he found Meghan in tears 'sobbing on the floor'.

Of course, this was several years ago and while tensions have certainly peaked since then, many have wondered where things stand between Kate and Meghan now.
Speaking to Closer, an insider said that Kate is apparently wanting to become civil with Harry and Meghan.
"With all the water under the bridge and everything she’s been through this past year, [Kate's] come to a place where she wants peace in every aspect of her life," they said.
"Not just for herself, but for the sake of William and Harry, she’s very worried about what this long-running feud is doing to the both of them.

"This isn’t so much about wanting to be friends with Meghan - that’s never going to happen - but she believes she can lead by example and start 2025 off by reaching out to Meghan with a nice holiday message and a thank you to her and Harry for all the goodwill they’ve sent her way."
The insider claims that Kate is 'seeing a lot of things in a new light', adding: "... While there’s no chance of the ‘fab four’ thing again, she feels like this could be their last chance to make peace with Meghan once and for all.
"She wants Harry to feel supported and she knows that won’t happen if Meghan isn’t included. Kate is doing all she can to bring the family back together, it's been far too long to be at odds this way."
This comes after Kate revealed she had finished her cancer treatment in September last year, which came after her first bombshell announcement in March.
