Today is Prince George's 11th birthday, and Kate Middleton has released a brand new photo of the young royal that has fans delighted.
The Princess of Wales shared a snap of the prince on her joint Instagram account with Prince William.
Kate captioned the photo: "Wishing Prince George a very happy 11th birthday today!"

The black and white photo shows George dressed in a suit as he smiles at the camera.
However, while everyone were quick to wish him a happy birthday, it seems that a lot of people shared the same thought.
One person wrote: "He's the splitting image of his father, honestly. Happy Birthday George! And how is he 11 already?"

While another said: "Prince George looks so much like his Dad."
A third chimed: "Happy birthday! Omg he looks like his dad. Many blessings on your birthday little prince!"
It has previously been revealed by Prince George's godmother, Julia Samuel, that the prince enjoys a birthday tradition that was started by Princess Diana.
She said during an episode of How to Fail with Elizabeth Day in 2020, marking what would have been Diana's 59th birthday: "I do to George what [Princess Diana] did to us, which is give impossible toys that are really noisy and take a lot of making."

She went on: "William then has to spend days putting them together. And then put all the machinery together, and it makes awful tooting noises and lights flashing and all of that.
"It makes George laugh", before reflecting on how much his grandmother Diana would have loved him.
She mused: "He's funny and feisty and cheeky and God she [Diana] would have loved him so much.

"That is heartbreaking for all of them."
Prince William previously appeared in the 2017 documentary Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy to gave further insight into his way of parenting while keeping the spirit of his mother alive.
"We've got more photos up round the house now of her and we talk about her a bit and stuff. And it's hard because obviously Catherine didn't know her, so she cannot really provide that level of detail." he said.
"So I do, regularly, putting George or Charlotte to bed, talk about her and just try and remind them that there are two grandmothers, there were two grandmothers in their lives. And so it's important that they know who she was and that she existed.

"She'd be a nightmare grandmother, absolute nightmare! She'd love the children to bits, but... She'd come in probably at bath time, cause an amazing amount of scene, bubbles everywhere, bathwater all over the place ‒ and then leave."
