Prince Harry's book Spare disclosed a lot of personal moments, rifts and secrets that nobody could have guessed when it hit shelves last year, including an alleged feud between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton.
Apparently the exchange between the pair happened just days before Meghan's nuptials to Harry in 2018.
This moment, which was long reported caused Meghan to make Kate cry - was previously revealed in leaked excerpts of the book.

It explained that it was Kate that had allegedly made Meghan cry after she demanded that ‘all the dresses’ for the flower girls had to be remade.
Harry even took it a step further and included the actual text exchange in his writing.
Kate apparently wrote to the bride-to-be: "Charlotte's dress is too big, too long, too baggy.”

"She cried when she tried it on at home," Kate added.
Meghan then went on to say that a tailor could make alterations, replying: "Right, and I told you the tailor has been standing by since 8am. Here. At KP. Can you take Charlotte to have it altered, as the other mums are doing?"
That’s when Kate asked for ‘all the dresses be remade.’
Harry then interjected that: "Meg asked if Kate was aware of what was going on right now. With her father.

"Kate said she was well aware, but the dresses. And the wedding is in four days!"
The whole thing allegedly stemmed from Kate's ‘problems with the way Meg was planning her wedding. Something about a party for the page boys? It went back and forth.’
That’s when Meghan told her that she wasn’t ‘sure what else to say. If the dress doesn't fit then please take Charlotte to see Ajay. He's been waiting all day.’
Kate allegedly responded with a cold ‘fine’ and the next thing Harry knew, Meghan was ‘sobbing’ on the floor.

As per the tabloids months later, it was reported that Meghan was the instigator and made Kate cry.
During her 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan rehashed her side of the story and how the tabloids affected her.
She said: "I don't think it's fair to her to get into the details of [the fight], because she apologized. And I've forgiven her. What was hard to get over was being blamed for something that not only I didn't do, but that happened to me.

"And the people who were part of our wedding going to our comms team and saying, 'I know this didn't happen.'"
