Rumours have begun circling around that Meghan Markle’s team having reportedly floated the idea of a post-divorce tell-all book - even though she and husband, Prince Harry, are still together.
The couple, who have been subject to an avalanche of speculation regarding the status of their marriage over years, tied the knot back in 2018 before having two children, Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.
Shortly after their wedding, back in 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced on Instagram their decision to 'step back as senior members' of the British royal family.
Now, there's been a lot of chat about the couple's 'professional separation' - and Meghan's new Netflix series could confirm this.

"Harry and Meghan have consistently pursued solo ventures in connection with their individual interests," an anonymous source told Hello! a few months back.
"But remain deeply committed to their joint efforts through Archewell [their joint charity, formed in 2020]."
The source added: "Together they have exciting projects in the pipeline, all driving forward their shared mission for positive global impact."
And now, an inside source with knowledge of Meghan's projects told Vanity Fair her team had reportedly floated the idea of a book about her life following a theoretical divorce from Harry.

The source told the outlet that her team had a conversation with the unnamed publisher to 'gauge interest' in the hypothetical book, which was said to be 'post-divorce'.
The insider claimed that the proposed book would focus around a theoretical split from Harry and did not concern 'a general book on life after marital dissolution', or one about the Duchess' divorce from ex-husband, Trevor Engelson.
One source reportedly suggested Meghan may have been approached by the publisher rather than opening the discussion herself.

"If that’s true to any degree, she would have been approached and not vice versa," they said.
Regardless, the outlet highlights that the hypothetical book has no manuscript with no offers ever being made, leaving the reports firmly in the realm of hearsay.
It's also important to note that such sources did clarify that this alleged inquiry was speculative and did not indicate any current trouble in the Sussexes’ marriage.

The couple have an already existing four-book deal with Penguin Random House, which includes Harry's tell-all memoir, Spare - which was published back in 2023 - alongside Meghan's children's picture book, The Bench, which came out a few years back in 2021.
