Weeks after talk of her 'professional separation' from Prince Harry first hit headlines, Meghan Markle has seemingly confirmed the speculation regarding their relationship status.
Speaking to PEOPLE Magazine this week in a rare interview, the 43-year-old Duchess opened up about the distance that she and Harry's respective professional endeavours have created in recent months, and the impact this has had on their romance.
Back in November, following a several-months-long bout of solo appearances made by the couple, an anonymous source told HELLO! that Meghan and Harry would be taking some time away from one another going forward.
"Harry and Meghan have consistently pursued solo ventures in connection with their individual interests," they alleged at the time. "But remain deeply committed to their joint efforts through Archewell [their joint charity, formed in 2020]."

And in the months that followed discussions of their rumoured 'professional separation', Meghan not only made her return to social media after a four-year break, but announced her very own self-fronted Netflix series.
The lifestyle show With Love, Meghan, landed on the streaming service today (4 Mar). Harry, meanwhile, has spent recent months focussing all of his attention on the 2025 Invictus Games, which ran in Canada from 8-16th Feb.
And whilst one might expect all of this time away from one another might have had a negative impact on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's relationship, mother-of-two Meghan says it's had the opposite affect.
The former Suits actress told PEOPLE Magazine that their recent distance has created another 'honeymoon' period between she and Harry, 40.

"My husband met me when I had The Tig [her former lifestyle brand]," she recalled. "And I see this spark in his eye when he sees me doing the thing that I was doing when he first met me."
Meghan continued: "It’s almost like a honeymoon period again, because it’s exactly how it was in the beginning when he’d watch me scribbling away, writing newsletters, fine-tuning edits and just really being in the details of it.
"I think he loves watching as much as I love doing that creative process. It’s just been fun. This is who I’ve always been."

Addressing rumours regarding their relationship status directly, she admitted that, whilst they've been working apart, the Archewell Foundation is still at the forefront of their minds.
"I imagine that it’s the same as it would be for any couple," Meghan continued. "You have your individual jobs, but then you have things that you share together."
She added of her husband - with whom she shares son Archie, five, and daughter Lilibet, three: "We’ve been such a close team for so long that we’re just in it beat by beat with each other.
"And I love that. To be able to be a female founder and do that with my husband’s support means everything.”
