‘Truth’ about Harry and Meghan’s ‘divorce’ book revealed amid their ‘professional separation’

‘Truth’ about Harry and Meghan’s ‘divorce’ book revealed amid their ‘professional separation’

Rumours of a divorce book by Harry and Meghan have been shot down

A new source has spoken out about rumours of a split between Harry and Meghan.

It comes amid a 'professional separation'. In practice, this just means they're turning their attention to solo ventures, rather than doing everything as a couple.

A source told Hello magazine said: "Harry and Meghan have consistently pursued solo ventures in connection with their individual interests, but remain deeply committed to their joint efforts through Archewell."

But more recently, Vanity Fair have reported that Meghan had allegedly pitched a post-divorce book to publishers.

They claimed Meghan’s rumoured ‘divorce book’ would have focused on the aftermath of a split from Harry.

It would not pertain to her divorce from her first husband Trevor Engelson, with whom she split in 2014.

Vanity Fair’s report indicated that the couple weren’t definitely divorcing, but were just testing the waters to see if a book on divorce would be of interest.

Reportedly, the publishers expressed no interest and no manuscript was produced since Meghan and Harry haven't divorced.

Now, a source who claims to work closely with the couple has claimed they won’t be splitting, because ‘their value is in being a couple’.

The unnamed source told Page Six: "Meghan and Harry know that they are tied together, their value is in being a couple — even if they wanted to split, they couldn’t. And honestly, they are obsessed with each other.

"They are worth more together.

"It doesn’t benefit them to be apart — they have all their deals together. I think the Random House deal is much like the Netflix deal: Netflix just said ‘Yes’ to everything because they wanted to get the docu-series [Harry & Meghan].

"So they said, ‘Ok, we’ll take the ‘Polo’ show’ and let’s see what happens with Meghan’s lifestyle show."

The couple had originally signed a $20 million Penguin Random House deal back in 2021, which was to feature several books about themes of leadership.

However, there hasn’t been much activity from the deal since Harry’s book Spare was published in 2023.

Other books rumoured to be included in their publishing deal is a wellness book from Meghan and a book written by the two of them.

So far, the only books to come to fruition were Harry’s autobiography and a children’s book by Meghan.

The couple wed back in 2018, going on to share two children - Prince Archie, age 5, and Princess Lilibet, age 3.

After stepping back from life as Royals in January 2020, the couple moved to Los Angeles where they have resided ever since.

In the years since leaving the Royal Family, they have talked about their experiences multiple times, including during a Netflix series and during an interview with Oprah Winfrey.
