When Prince Harry's bombshell memoir Spare was released in January last year, it became the fastest-selling book of all time.
And this week, the royal biography has broken another record. This time, however, for a less impressive reason entirely...
Prior to it's release, Spare was advertised as an explosive look into the Duke of Sussex's fiery feud with brother Prince William and sister-in-law Kate Middleton, and the way that the couple stunted his marriage to wife Meghan Markle.

And that, it absolutely was - with a couple of extra details.
In the 416 page work, father-of-two Harry began by discussing his recent decision to step down from his official royal duties and flea to America, where'd he'd continue to reside with the former Suits actress to this day - a move that sent the UK public reeling.
The book then travels all the way to the beginning of his story, discussing the heartbreaking loss of his mother, Princes Diana, his childhood adoration of brother, William, the often-strained relationship he endured with his father, Charles, and the emergence of his step-mother, Camilla.
Harry reminisces on past romances - name dropping several former flames and recalling the night he lost his virginity to an older woman in a field - and recalls the devastation he saw whilst serving in Afghanistan in his early 20s.

Sadly, however, it didn't take long for the Prince's attention to turn to his falling out with William and Kate.
In the book, Harry accused his big brother of having grabbed and knocked him into a dog bowl on one occasion during a conversation about Meghan, and claimed Kate had once reduced the Duchess to tears in a wedding bust-up.
He also accused several other high-profile members of the royal family of treating his wife poorly because on her race, Americanised culture, and divorce history, and said some had even expressed their concerns about their son Archie's skin-tone.

Naturally, when word got out that Harry had gone into such great depths to accuse his family, the memoir began flying off the shelves.
The week of its release, Spare became an international best-seller, with a staggering 1.4 million copies selling on the first day alone in the UK, America and Canada.
Not only did this figure break the record of any prior celebrity memoir, but it also set Harry up with several other professional endeavours, including Netflix documentaries and A-list interviews.

Unfortunately for the Prince, however, the success wasn't to last very long at all, and it has since emerged that Spare has since become the most traded-in book of this year.
According to We Buy Book - a website that purchases second-hand works - this is actually the second year in a row that the memoir has bagged this title.
"This year, we purchased a total of 567 copies," a spokesperson for the company told press this week, adding that they now offer an average of £3.38 when purchasing a hard-back version second-hand, and 75p for a paper-back.
Upon its release, it retailed in Waterstones for a considerably higher £28.
