Prince William speaks publicly about brother Harry with rare comment for first time in years

Prince William speaks publicly about brother Harry with rare comment for first time in years

The brothers haven't been known to speak since their grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral

Prince William is set to speak about his brother Prince Harry in a new ITV documentary.

While nobody knows what has gone on behind closed doors, the brothers have not been known to speak publicly since 2021.

Tensions rose in the family when Harry and Meghan decided to leave their Royal duties behind them and move to America, but it seems as though multiple bombshell interviews, as well as Harry's book Spare, is what really drove their relationship apart.

However Prince William is now set to break his silence on speaking about his brother, in a new documentary he has made with ITV.

And royal fans won't have to wait long to view it, as it is set to air this week.

The two-part series, titled Prince William: We Can End Homelessness, will see William co-found a venture called Homewards.

The aim is to dramatically change the scale of the homelessness problem within the UK by partnering with charities, as the ever-growing issue spirals out of control.

It's known that the late Princess Diana never let her boys forget their position of privilege, and William speaks about this in the documentary.

Referring to a time with his brother during their childhood, he said: "My mother took me to The Passage; she took Harry and I both there.

"I must have been 11 at the time, maybe 10.

“I had never been to anything like that before, and I was a bit anxious about what to expect.”

The Passage is London's largest homelessness charity, and they have been helping over 200 people a day access the services they need since 1980.

During the documentary, William responded to criticism that he wasn't somebody who should be tackling homelessness given his privileged position.

Asked how he feels about criticism of Homewards, he said: "I think if I answered every critic, I’d be here all day. But you know, criticism drives you forward.

"I think it’s right to question but I think, ultimately, we are pushing forward to deliver change and hope and optimism into a world that frankly has had very little of it for a long time.

"I hope I can bring something that’s not been done before.”

The Prince also talks about how he addressed the topic with his three young children, George, Charlotte, and Louis.

Prince William: We Can End Homelessness will air on ITV on October 30th and 31st.
