Kensington Palace quickly took action to remove an awkward blunder in a post involving Prince William.
His Royal Highness marked his return to official duties after a holiday in the Caribbean by hosting a meeting with football manager Thomas Tuchel at Windsor Castle on Tuesday (25 February).
As the patron of the Football Association (FA), William and Thomas caught up and a picture of the meeting was shared on the official Prince and Princess of Wales social media accounts, along with a caption.

The post read: "Great to meet new @england manager Thomas Tuchel for the first time today, and hear about plans for the team."
However, the post was removed and the caption was replaced and reposted.
The new caption said: "Great to meet new @england men's manager Thomas Tuchel for the first time today, and hear about plans for the team."

Can you spot the difference? While Tuchel is the manager of the men’s national team, the manager of the Lionesses is Sarina Wiegman.
William’s meeting with Thomas lasted over an hour, with the football manager sharing his views on the team’s future.
Thomas, a German former footballer who started coaching in 2000, will have the task of leading the Three Lions to World Cup victory in the 2026 tournament.
William previously shared his support for Thomas taking on the coveted role after he was appointed, saying: "Exciting times for @England, with a generation of talented players and a new manager taking the reins. "Thomas, wishing you the best of luck, we’re all behind you! W."

According to the Mirror, a royal source said they also chatted about the success of William’s favourite team, Aston Villa.
Thomas was later seen watching a match involving Crystal Palace, which was hosting Aston Villa in England’s top division.
He was hired in October and officially started work in the role on 1 January. Thomas' first matches in charge will be the qualifiers against Albania on 21 March and Latvia three days later.
William previously shouted out Gareth Southgate, the former manager of the England men's national team from 2016 until 2024.

In July 2024, he said: "Gareth, I want to thank you - not as the President of the @FA, but as an @England fan. Thank you for creating a team that stands shoulder to shoulder with the world's finest in 2024.
"Thank you for showing humility, compassion, and true leadership under the most intense pressure and scrutiny."
