The King was forced to apologise after pronouncing his newborn granddaughter's name incorrectly as the royal couple welcomed their fourth child.
Royals are known for their huge families, so it's not hard to believe that names get mixed up here and there - as it's pretty hard to keep up.
As a result, the King of Sweden was caught out after mistakenly calling his new granddaughter the wrong name at an important occasion.

Just a week ago, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia of Sweden welcomed their fourth child, Princess Ines Marie Lilian Silvia, Duchess of Västerbotten.
And let's be honest, that's a mouthful for anyone.

Earlier this week (February 10), King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, and the current heir to the throne, Crown Princess Victoria, attended a Council for the birth of Princess Ines.

But the King made two major errors, and was forced to issue an apology.
His first mistake was calling the little one 'Insa' as opposed to 'Ines', and he then went on to announce her middle names in the wrong order, saying 'Silvia Marie Lilian' as opposed to 'Marie Lilian Silvia'.
The Swedish royal court quickly released a statement, while adding that the King suffers from dyslexia.
It read: "The King is very sorry that he said the wrong name.

"The reason why he said the wrong thing is that the names were kept secret until just before the Council, even from the King."
The royal family announced the birth of the baby last week, with a statement which said: "Today, Friday 7th February at 1.10 p.m., HRH Princess Sofia gave birth to a daughter at Danderyd Hospital in Stockholm.
"The baby weighs 3645 grams and is 49 centimetres long.

"Prince Carl Philip was present at Danderyd Hospital throughout the birth."
But she wasn't the only royal baby to be born towards the start of 2025.
British royal fans were delighted to hear the news that Princess Beatrice had given birth to a baby girl on January 22, at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.
Her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, announced the news on Instagram, saying: "Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi. We welcomed Baby Athena into our lives last week.

"She is tiny and absolutely perfect. We are all (including Wolfie and Sienna) already completely besotted with her."
