Police have issued a new update after Virginia Giuffre said a road traffic collision earlier this week had left her with 'four days to live'.
The 41-year-old American took to Instagram yesterday (31 March), where she shared a number of photos of her injuries - which included deep bruising to her face - after she said her car was ploughed into by a school bus.
"This year has been the worst start to a new year," Giuffre penned in the caption.

"But I won’t bore anyone with the details but I think it important to note that when a school bus driver comes at you driving 110km as we were slowing for a turn that no matter what your car is made of it might as well be a tin can."
She added: "I’ve gone into kidney renal failure, they’ve given me four days to live."
Giuffre is believed to be based in Perth, and originally West Australian police said they had no record of any recent road accident which would match the description of her crash.

However, they have now said there was an accident involving a car and a school bus at 3pm on 24 March in Neergabby, north of Perth.
They confirmed to the Guardian that the driver of the car was a 41-year-old woman, but would not confirm if it was Giuffre. They also described it as a 'minor crash' with 'no reported injuries'.
They added: "The car sustained approximately $2000 (£967) worth of damage."

Police in Victoria and New South Wales said privacy restrictions meant they couldn't identify any crashes based on the information available, according to the Daily Mail.
The update came just hours after Giuffre's lawyer, attorney Brad Edwards, described her situation as 'very bad' in conversation with MailOnline and claiming the married mum's family are still 'hoping for better news in the coming days'.
Edwards added that he hoped Giuffre would be able to survive her injuries with the right medical care.
The mum-of-three's name first hit headlines in 2014 after she accused Prince Andrew of having sexually abused her when she was a teenager.

Giuffre alleged to have been trafficked to the Royal at the hands of convicted sex traffickers Jeffrey Epstein (who died in jail in 2019) and Ghislaine Maxwell when she was a minor.
She accused the pair of forcing her 'to have sex' with Andrew in 2001 at Epstein's New York apartment.
Giuffre claimed much of the abuse happened when she was 17 years old, and that the Prince had also subjected her to 'battery'.

She and Andrew reached a financial settlement in 2022, ending the civil claim she'd filed in the US and relieving father-of-two of ever having to go to trial. Prince Andrew did not admit to any wrongdoing as part of the settlement.
