A woman who found a deer carcass in her garden got one hell of a spooky experience after she set up a camera to see what would happen to it once the sun went down.
Corinea Stanhope, of Powell River, Canada, found the dead deer in her garden while riding one of her horses.
Hoping to get a glimpse of what nature gets up to while they think we're not looking she set up a camera and decided to watch the footage of what she assumed would be woodland creatures interacting with the carcass.

Instead she ended up witnessing two topless 'witches' who appeared to eat part of the discarded deer carcass as some sort of ritual.
The 36-year-old sat down with her grandad Bob the next day to go through the video and the CCTV footage showed what appeared to be two topless figures wearing only a bit of cloth around their waist approach the carcass and start eating it.
Their long, dark hair which Corinea thinks were actually wigs covered their faces from being easy to spot as they picked up bits of dead deer and took a bite.

"I came the next day and grandpa said he'd got naked people on the camera and I said, 'No you didn't. Bulls**t' so he showed me," Corinea said of learning about the spooky footage.
"I don't know what the heck was up with that. It really freaked us out, it's not something you see every day.
"They came ten minutes after sunset. They looked dishevelled. It looks like they have wigs on. One looks like she has blonde hair underneath."

It's a pretty scary thing to see, especially when it's just a couple of minutes walk away from where you live.
Corinea wondered what they were doing with the deer carcass and whether they were actually eating it as first appeared or attempting to do something else with it.
She shared pictures of the chilling CCTV footage online and people have been understandably freaked out by this.
While a few people are convinced it's 'gotta be a prank' there are plenty of others who'd be getting 'on the phone the second I saw this' to call the police.

Someone else said they thought the 'witches' could be something called a 'skin walker', which is apparently a 'walking demon from hell', so either take that with a pinch of salt or pour a line of it across your door to ward off evil spirits (and slugs).
Another person wondered if they were scavengers who went out and about in the dark looking for things to take, saying they'd 'caught people on our trail cams at night doing that'.
Corinea insisted that the pictures weren't faked or staged by her, hoping instead that whomever the two strange figures were had set the thing up as some sort of joke she wasn't in on.
