Everyone knows it’s not Christmas without a visit to Winter Wonderland in London.
And we can officially say that the festive season starts today as the attraction has now opened its doors to those looking for some Christmas cheer.
But this year, the event will be unveiling some exciting new features as it celebrates 15 years of Christmas magic in the heart of London.

The Hyde Park holiday event has revealed a whole range of new things to see and do this year, including a brand-new Magical Ice Kingdom and an even bigger choice of rides for thrill-seekers.
This year, the fan-favourite ice sculpture and crafted snow area are debuting a new look in light of the milestone anniversary.
Visitors can also explore secret passageways, snow-tunnelled ice slide and a TikTok-worthy unicorn-drawn crystal carriage in the Magical Ice Kingdom.

But don’t forget to wrap up warm as temperatures inside are set to a chilly -10°C to keep the impressive sculptures intact.
And also new for the 2022/2023 season is Cirque Berserk!’s ‘Dynamo’ show, which sees a team of adrenaline junkies who laugh in the face of danger taking on roller skating, foot juggling, arial tricks, and not to mention, the motorcycle Globe of Death.
And for those heading to the Christmas destination for a spot of food and drink the Sleigh-By is the newest foodie spot boasting a host of street food stalls, bars and a chill-out area for those looking for a spot of rest before setting off on their next wintery adventure.

Finally back and bigger than ever, the 45-metre Real Ice Slide is set to return with an extra lane for 2022. This means that you can finally settle your sibling rivalry or friendship debate with a race down the ice slide, which is guaranteed to make even the losing racer smile.
And of course, Winter Wonderland will also be bringing back our much-loved festive favourites including the Giant Wheel, which provides amazing views over the whole park, Zippos Christmas Circus, Santaland, Ice Sculpting Workshops, and the UK’s largest open-air ice rink.
Already, social media users have taken to sharing their excitement at the doors opening today. “I seriously can’t one,” penned one, while someone else said: “I need to calm myself.”
