There are few days more personal than your wedding day, and while most brides opt for a personalised traditional look, not all of them do.
Case in point, Australian model Cat McNeil, 33, who decided to wear a very revealing white dress when she said 'I do'.
She really did dare to bear in the AU $1,740 (£990) dress by the French designer Monot as she declared her love for NBA player Miles Plumlee, 34.

While most brides very much keep themselves covered up, perhaps with some risqué lingerie underneath, McNeil sported two large slits on either side of her dress, which showed off her slim, tattooed frame.
The whole thing was tied together with bows at her waist.
Sharing snaps of the dress to Instagram, the model captioned the post: "Mr and Mrs Plumlee."
"By far the happiest day of my life!

"Thank you to everyone who made this possible.
"Love you all."
However, instead of the model's nuptials being the main talking point for her 95K followers, it was her seriously revealing dress.

Reacting to the revealing outfit, one fan praised: "That dress is killer."
"You look stunning," added a second while a third wrote alongside crying face emoji: "The dress with your tattoos."
"Just wow!!!!" added a fourth fan.
McNeil has had huge success as a model so likely had no qualms about rocking an unconventional wedding dress.

Some of the big-name designers that she has modelled for include Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Jean Paul Gaultier and Chanel.
McNeil is no stranger to hitting the headlines either, as the bisexual model perviously dated Australian actress Ruby Rose between 2009 and 2010.
The pair very nearly tied the knot too and they were engaged for six months before they decided it wasn't a perfect fit.
However, it looks like they are still very much on good terms and Ruby Rose was quick to comment on the news of McNeil's marriage, writing: "Gosh I'm crying from joy.

"I love you, you deserve this moment, and this forever X"
McNeil looked the picture of happiness when she announced her engagement last summer, sharing pictures of herself and her now-husband.
She wrote: "Of course I said YES.
"I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together."
The pair have been dating since 2018, and in another post, she referred to Plumlee as 'my best friend, my rock, my everything'.
