A woman has been left devastated after farting in front of her husband, with the unnamed man refusing to forgive her.
We've all had the occasional moment when an unexpected fart has slipped out in front of a group of people.
That is embarrassing, sure. But one place where you think you'll be free from embarrassment is the family home.

However, this unnamed Australian woman has said that her husband refuses to forgive her for the 'disgusting and unladylike' offence.
Despite friends insisting that he should forgive his partner of nine years, the man has no plans on backing down.
The woman spoke to Kidspot about her predicament, saying that she knew her husband hated woman farting or burping.

She discovered this after one of her friends burped in front of him on a night out.
"He spent the entire hour walk home telling me how gross and uncouth what she did was," she said.
From that moment, the woman knew she had to 'keep it in' around him.
During the whole of their nine-year relationship so far, the woman has managed to only pass wind when he's not around. But a few weeks ago, she accidentally let one rip in bed.

She said: "For nine years now I have been able to maintain this flatulence quality control but a few weeks ago as I started to drift off to sleep, my guard was down and out came the post-pizza gasses from that evening’s dinner.
"It wasn’t a small or inoffensive smelling one either. In fact, it was probably one I’d be embarrassed about even if I was alone in the toilet."
The woman said that her husband looked at her with the most 'disgusted expression' on his face that she had ever seen.

He apparently said: "That is absolutely revolting! Farting is the most unladylike thing a woman can do, especially in front of her husband."
The woman said that she apologised to her husband the next day and begged him to forgive her.
While he did accept the apology, the woman says that she still feels his 'disappointment'.
She added that her husband now reminds her of the farting episode and complains when he sees it happening on TV.

She said: "He will use any reminder of what happened to really drum home that burping, or farting is not acceptable for a woman to do."
While her friends have rightly pointed out that a natural bodily function shouldn't be a big deal, the anonymous woman still feels guilty.
She concluded: "It is really the only thing that is a big deal for him and while others may say it isn’t important, for me it is because for my husband who I love and who in every other way is so wonderful, thinks it is."
