The wife of a man who was cut in half by a forklift truck has made a touching vow on their two-year anniversary.
Loren Schauers married Sabia Schauers-Reiche almost two-years after he sustained life-changing injuries, which saw three of his limbs be removed.
Loren lost the bottom of his body in a horrific accident in 2019, when a forklift he was driving veered off a bridge and plummeted 50ft to the ground.

Loren ended up being pinned to the ground with the four-ton vehicle on top of him until he could be rescued.
Due to the severity of his injuries, Loren had no choice but to undergo a procedure called a hemicorporectomy, in which everything below the waist is removed.
And right by his side throughout it all was Sabia.
During his stay in hospital, Sabia was told multiple times Loren wouldn’t pull through and said her ‘final’ goodbye to him six times.

Loren said previously: "Every medical professional I come across is pretty amazed by everything, especially with the story that comes along with my injuries.
"It wasn't a hard choice to have half of my body amputated - it was basically a choice of living or dying.
"With Sabia assuring to stay by my side no matter what and all my immediate family being around me, it really wasn’t a hard choice for me!"

After managing to completely defy the odds, in 2021 he and Sabia tied the knot.
Now, two-years after they said their vows, Sabia has shared a touching snap of them on their wedding day alongside the caption: "02/28. 2 years married to my best friend," before vowing: "Let’s make it 70 more."
Despite his life-changing injuries, the couple are as happy as ever and now share their incredible journey on YouTube where they speak openly and answer any questions people may have about their relationship.

However, one area of their lives they won’t comment on is their sex life.
During one Q&A Sabia hit out at the ‘disrespectful’, saying: "A question we get repeatedly is how do we have sex and how do we become intimate," she said.
"That is a very personal question that we are never going to answer or allude to as it's very disrespectful.
"You wouldn't ask a random couple on the street how they have sex and just because our life circumstances are different, it doesn't give people the right to ask."
