A woman on TikTok has revealed the strict rules for her wedding day, including banning children from attending.
The social media user didn’t miss a beat, explaining the shocking details from who is allowed to attend, as well as what guests and her bridesmaids are allowed to wear.
The TikToker, known as @cruzjasmine824, took to the social media platform to explain the rules of her special day, writing: “These are my very real wedding rules I’ll be doing at my wedding this year!”
She wrote the rules to her nuptials on the notes page of her phone, before taking a screenshot and sharing it on TikTok.

She explained: “I love watching these videos so I wanted to do my own, and I’m actually engaged,” she said, showing the camera her ring, “so I will actually be following these rules at my wedding coming up."
“Number one, let’s start there because everybody gets mad at this one,” she said, acknowledging the controversy in enforcing this rule at her ceremony, “no kids!”
“I don’t want kids running around unattended with their parents not watching, that will absolutely not be happening.”
The woman did go on to say that, however, some guests will be allowed to bring their children along in certain circumstances.
“There are some exceptions. Most of my siblings are under the age of 15, well, like half of them, so they can come as well as some out-of-towners who genuinely cannot get babysitters for the whole weekend ‘cause they have to travel, obviously they can bring their kids.
“They’ve gotta be watching them, though,” she reiterated.
“Number two, don’t wear white, plain and simple. My bridesmaids have strict instructions already to dump a whole bottle of red wine on you, so let’s just avoid that. Don’t wear white.”
She continued discussing the style-rules at her wedding, explaining that her bridesmaids are also allowed to decide on their own attire on the day.
“Number three, the bridesmaids can pick their outfits, I chose the colour. I already have the colour picked out, they can pick out whatever outfit they wanna wear.
“If they wanna wear a dress, a pantsuit, I just have to approve it and see it first just to make sure it flows well. But they can wear whatever they want, basically.”
Number four hilariously saw the TikToker repeating the “don’t wear white memo”, in a bid for her guests and followers to fully comprehend this style rule.
Next on her list of restrictions was the guest list, which definitely did not seem up for negotiation.
“Number five, if you are not invited you are not welcome. I will specifically write on the invitation how many plus-ones you get, and that’s it!
“Don’t be bringing no random people to my wedding, I gave you those plus-ones for each head of your household that I want at my wedding [sic].”
Her sixth rule saw the wedding party revoking an outdated and quite frankly sexist tradition, with the woman stating: “We’re not doing the garter thing, that’s gross.”
“I already have to kiss a man in public in front of all these people, now you want him to go under my dress and pretend to,” she said, proceeding to pretend to be sick.
The tradition in which the woman referred to sees the groom removing the bride’s garter and tossing it to the unmarried men on the day in a bid for them to catch it and be the next man to marry.
Other rules included, “my mom has creative say over everything day of”, “take advantage of open bar”, “no drunk drivers”, “vendors get treated as guests when they take a break” and “no big announcements”.
