Woman reveals she's engaged to random stranger from TikTok

A woman has revealed how she ended up getting engaged to a stranger she met on TikTok.

Describing the modern day fairytale love story, TikToker Ashley - aka @ashleyalyce - took to social media where she explained what had happened, and how the pair ended up getting engaged after a simple comment left on her fiancé Kellen's TikTok account over a year ago.

Sharing old footage of the build up to meeting her partner, Ashley then included a clip of them together on their first night of meeting.

In the video, Ashley explains: "So, commented on this guy's TikTok page about him needing to go on vacation because he had too many days built up at his company, and I told him that he could come to Miami with me, as a joke.

"And he's like, 'oh when?' I told him, and he messages me, and then yesterday he told me he had bought a ticket to Miami and he's going to Miami the same day I'm going and staying in the same hotel, different hotel rooms.

"Also forgot to mention, he lives in Washington, the same place I'm at right now."

Ashley then filmed a video diary of the days leading up to flying out to Miami, counting down to the moment she met him.

On the big day, she filmed herself at the airport and then later at the hotel pool. "So I'm still waiting for him, his flight got delayed, I'm literally becoming so inpatient. But he's coming soon."

Moments later and Ashley filmed another clip, explaining Kellen's flight had landed and he was on the way to the hotel.

"Well, I met him," she said, before panning the camera around.

Kellen could be seen grinning, wearing a shirt with a photo of Ashley on the back reading: "If found dead, it was this bi**h."

"From some random guy to my fiancé in a year!" Ashley captioned the video.

And other TikTokers found it hilarious, with many loving their story.

One person wrote: "Yep he was husband material from the shirt alone!"

While another said: "TikTok really has brought some amazing couples together & I’m living for the footage."

And a third added: "The back of his shirt got me so awesome though, congrats!"
