A woman on TikTok slammed her partner for giving her money instead of picking a special gift for Valentine's Day.
23-year-old Linda, known on TikTok as @lionlindaa, is a self-proclaimed 'stay-at-home wife'.
In a recent video titled 'romance is dead', she complained that her partner had transferred $20,000 (about £16,000) to her bank account instead of buying her a present for Valentine's Day.
"Ok so today my man put $20,000 into my bank account for Valentine's Day," Linda says in the video.

"I thought it was really thoughtless and selfish, there's no thought behind it at all," she adds.
Disappointed by the gesture, Linda could at least find some solace in knowing that money may not buy happiness, but it definitely allows you to do a whole lot of other things.
"Anyway, let's go shopping. Let me drown my worries in credit card bills," she continues.

She had one place in mind for her solo Valentine's Day mission: the Dubai Mall, housing several expensive designer shops.
Linda browses a few places, but it was a custom Hermès Kelly bag (currently priced between £6,000 and £11,000) that caught her eye.
"It's a custom Kelly with Monopoly artwork on it," she says, looking at the bag bearing a subtle pro-capitalism nod in the form of Mr Monopoly holding a few dollar bills.
"Nobody else will have it which is what I love. I don't want to be in with anybody else."

Linda also stopped for some delicious food near the Burj Khalifa, enjoying the view of Dubai's tallest building.
"It's beautiful, the view never gets old," the TikToker says.
Linda then finished off her shopping trip by trying on some shoes 'for a dinner I'll probably end up planning for myself'.

"That's all I did today. I was kinda lonely, so I went home," she concludes, revealing she did end up buying a pair of shoes.
Linda's video was flooded with comments, ranging from people criticising her to others being a bit more sympathetic.
"Guuurl appreciate what you have. What you spend in a day, it takes a teacher like me to make in a year!" one user commented.
While another said: "No see I understand why you're upset. Like yes $20,000 is good money but I'd rather he went out and bought something he thinks I’d like or plan a date."

However, some just seemed to want to find an equally generous, if a little unimaginative, husband.
"I'm manifesting finding my husband on my Dubai trip that's coming soon," one person joked.
