Even though we know that we should be applying SPF every single day, whether the sun is out or not, it can sometimes be tricky to remember to do so before we head out the door.
Which is why we are such fans of sunscreen sticks. Not only are they incredibly easy to apply but they’re especially handy for applying and reapplying SPF when we’re out and about or on the go.

And one particular sunscreen stick has been getting rave reviews from shoppers. Here’s everything you need to know about Attitude's sunscreen stickss…
Available in three varieties – an unscented version, a tropical variety and an orange blossom fragrance – each sunscreen stick has an SPF of 30. And depending on where you purchase yours from, they’re typically around £20 each, which isn’t too bad at all when we consider other sunscreen sticks that we’ve tried in the past.
How do they work?
If you’ve not used a sunscreen stick before, essentially you can apply this to your face, neck, décolletage and other parts of the body that might need protection, such as your ears, arms and legs. And it’s the one item that we always make sure to add to our travel bag.

A sunscreen stic, such as this one can also be a great option if you’re not a fan of the thick and gloopy white cast that certain SPFs often leave you with. This means it works particularly well on deeper and darker skin tones, as well as those, such as myself, who are already incredibly pale and don’t want to look even more ghost-like when they apply an SPF.
As the sunly Sunscreen Sticks are a mineral-based SPF this means that it sits on the skin to act as a protective barrier, compared to chemical SPFs which sink into the skin and can have more of a moisturising quality.
Both have their merits but mineral sunscreens are particularly effective for those with sensitive or reactive skin. So, if you’ve noticed in the past that your skin tends to break out in spots or blemishes whenever you apply SPF, it could be that you’re using a chemical sunscreen and would find it much more beneficial to use a mineral SPF instead.

And in terms of its levels of sun protection, zinc oxide blocks out damaging UVA and UVB rays which could cause issues such as hyperpigmentation, premature ageing and even types of skin cancer.
What are customers saying?
One happy customer took to the Naturisimo website to explain: “I loved the plastic free concept but I am always nervous the performance won't be the same but I was so happily surprised by this. Formula is SO creamy, there is no drag on the skin when you apply and I love the smell, it reminds me of that classic sunscreen smell from summer holidays. The fact it is plastic free is just the cherry on top of a great surprisingly amazing product. I will repurchase.”

While another added: “I love the fact that it’s completely biodegradable. As far as being a sunscreen goes, we spent the whole day at the beach and didn’t get burned at all."
