Cost: £235
Total value of products: £1,100
Advert
If you want to be ahead of the beauty game, then this calendar is perfect for you. Cult Beauty did not fall short on including some amazing products, we're simply obsessed. Priced at £235, while it's definitely an investment it's also relatively cheap for what’s inside which is valued at just over £1,100. The Augustine Bader moisturiser alone is £74 so if our girl math is correct, you’re basically getting three-quarters of of the products for free. If that wasn’t enough to draw you in, the Sol De Janeiro spray or full-sized Charlotte Tilbury pillow talk might. Cult Beauty has truly lived up to its name here.
Boots Skincare Advent Calendar
Cost: £65
Total value of products: £242
Advert
The Boots Skincare Advent Calendar comes with 24 different products and features standout brands like Byoma, Bioderma, Carbon Theory and INKEY. It is one is one of the more affordable on the market at just £65, when compared to others like LookFantastic or Harvey Nichols, which can cost anywhere between £100 and £250. It would have been nice to have some applicators in the calendar, as we all know how vital they are to any beauty routine, but Boots makes up for it by including 16 full-sized products. The absence of makeup makes it inclusive for all skin tones, although it slightly over-indexes on the tanning front with three different products. Overall, everything in the calendar totals to around £200 if you’d bought each product individually from one of their many locations. This makes it more than worth the money and would make a great gift for anyone this Christmas.
M&S Beauty Advent Calendar

We're not going to lie to you, there were a few products in here that made us let out a little squeal of delight when we opened the box. This calendar is small but mighty, and while the items are mostly minis there are some seriously premium brands that make this great bang for your buck. From the Cowshed body lotion to the Clinique cleansing balm, there's enough product in there to keep you stocked up until next Christmas, whether for travelling (hello mini Color Wow conditioner) or for your everyday beauty routine (the REN Cleansing Milk is a winner). The best part? The gorgeous blue velvet travelling case is perfect for storing knick-knacks. It's worth noting this one doesn't go on sale until 24th October, and you must spend £35 on clothing, home or beauty to qualify for the offer.
Liz Earle 12 Days of Beauty Advent Calendar
Cost: £79
Total value of products: £178
Advert
While it's not outwardly Christmas-themed, we'll happily forgive Liz Earle due to how beautifully presented the ‘12 Days’ beauty advent calendar is; the sage green box is sure to double-up as bathroom storage come January. The calendar features a mix of 12 individually packaged luxury skincare items — both in their full sizes and in the miniature travel versions — and the brand's iconic Hot Cloth Cleanser even comes with the accompanying super-soft muslin cloth. Another standout item is the bestselling Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion which is seriously powerful in the de-puffing department. You'll be genuinely excited to use every single product in the calendar, especially the Orange Flower Hand Repair cream and the Super Skin Eye Cream which we're willing to bet will combat our Boxing Day dark circles.
The price for all 12 items in the calendar comes to £79 and, in total, it’s worth £178.10. Considering there’s around a £100 discount, that’s a pretty decent deal .

The Body Shop Advent of Wonders
Cost: £49
Total value of products: £119
If you spent your teenage years slathering on The Body Shop's cult body butters, then this advent calendar is for you. Filled with 24 miniatures - including butters, shower gels, skincare and accessories - it's the ultimate self-care package. I particularly loved the plumping lip mask and the vitamin E face mask which left my skin feeling super soft. The Body Shop has stayed true to its core values, focusing on more recyclable packaging, as well as Community Fair Trade ingredients. I particularly loved the information on each box, detailing how the product was made and where the ingredients originated from. The only downside? The number of shower gels and hand creams feels a little repetitive (11 in total, including two bars of soap).
However, for those who love The Body Shop - or those who love somebody who loves The Body Shop, you can't go wrong.
