Following her glamorous wedding to Brooklyn Peltz Beckham over the weekend, fashion fanatics are still in the process of analysing Nicola Peltz Beckham's stunning bridal look - from the classic 90's-inspired hair and makeup all the way down to the shoes.
The 28-year-old actress tied the knot with Brooklyn at a lavish ceremony in Palm Beach, Florida at her billionaire father's private estate, with a star-studded guest list. And while fans can all agree that Nicola looked utterly breathtaking on her special day, her shoe choice has sparked a debate online. Watch here:
Accompanying her custom-made Valentino wedding gown and detailed arm-length gloves, Nicola opted for a trendy pair of Versace platforms.

Opening up the conversation on TikTok, one creator named Alexandra Nikolajev (@lexniko) asked her followers: "What do we think of the shoes? I don't mean the shoes in general. I mean the shoes as part of her wedding ensemble that will be in photos forever for the rest of her life."
Unless you've been living under a rock for the last month, you may have seen these Y2K-inspired Versace platform heels doing the rounds. And while the shoes are in high demand, some people aren't so sure they tie in with the rest of Nicola's wedding look.
"Gorgeous but Don’t like the shoes" commented one TikToker.

A second concurred: "not a fan of the shoes with the whole look, maybe if they were open toe? so pretty either way!"
And a third added: "she missed on the shoes it doesn’t match but other than that this is a look".
"Everything is so perfect but then the there’s the shoes 😫" wrote another sceptical viewer. "But as long as she/they’re happy she’ll love the photos forever."
However, others people were big fans of Nicola's shoe choice, arguing that they were fitting given she's essentially marrying into the Spice Girls dynasty.

"I think the shoes give it character" wrote one TikTok user. "She’s a model and the vibe was model so it makes sense that she’d have different styling than traditional wedding."
A second joked: "If I was marrying the spawn of a spice girl I would 100% wear those shoes"
A third viewer commented: "I love!! I think the idea of wedding stuff having to be “timeless” is annoying - whatever you enjoy most THAT DAY is perfect".

And a fourth agreed: "The shoes have grown on me since the original photos came out. It’s her way of adding her personality back into the outfit."
Whatever your thoughts on the shoes, isn'it about time we stopped analysing brides' outfit choices and gave them a break?
