While there are many shops and brands on the UK high street, we are often playing catch-up to our friends across the pond.
Many of out favourites began in the US, and now another favourite stateside has expanded its portfolio with a huge new store in the UK.
Bath & Body Works - a popular candle and fragrance brand in the US - has opened a new store in the Trafford Centre, Manchester today (21 July).

Founded in 1990, Bath & Body Works offers a plethora of candles, hand sanitisers, shower gels and fragrances, being a highly respected disruptor for the best part of 30 years.
The company has over 1,500 stores in the US, with this Manchester one being the second one to open in the UK.
Last year, Bath & Body Works welcomed customers in Bluewater, Kent with its first official store to hit British soil.

But while that may have been great for Southerns, those up north and the midlands had a long trek if they wanted to visit.
That problem has now been solved for northerns with the Manchester store, sit tight midlanders - a store will hopefully come soon.
But for now, those at the Trafford Centre have been speaking about the excitement of the store opening on on Upper Regent Crescent right next to River Island.

The new Manchester store introduces an 'exciting new experiential environment' that will allow fragrance lovers to discover a bunch of fashion smellies for the body, hands and home.
Many flocked to Bath & Body Works Manchester first thing this morning as the first 100 customers to come through the doors received an exclusive gift.

Fast on their feet, shoppers bagged a set of some of Bath & Body Works' much-loved fragrances, all of which were packed in a reusable bag.
The ones gifted to shoppers were Gingham, Kitchen Lemon, Mahogany Teakwood, and Champagne Toast, while customers were also able to bag the newly released Pineapple Cove.
While Bath & Body Works may only just be getting started with its own stores in the UK, UK shoppers have actually been able to purchase some products of theirs in the clothing shop Next.
