A woman has sparked an intense laundry debate online after admitting that she wears her pyjamas multiple nights in a row before washing them.
It sounds like a fairly mundane thing to admit, but some people were actually pretty disgusted by it, insisting that you should wash your PJs after every wear.
Creator Allison Delperdang took to TikTok to earnestly ask what everyone 'as adults' are doing with their pyjamas - and was met with quite a surprising response.

"I need to know if people wear pyjamas, like, multiple nights in a row," she said, revealing the button-up onesie she's been sleeping in.
"I’ve worn these, like, three nights in a row. So I need to know if, like, as adults, we’re still doing that, or should I be literally making dirty clothes every single night?"
If I had been asked this without seeing the comment section, I would have thought Allison's pyjama practice was completely normal. But now I'm not so sure.
Because, there really are people who are wearing a different pair of pyjamas every single night, and some of them seemed slightly horrified that Allison wasn't doing the same.

"No, because I am wearing them for 8+ hours, they just don't feel clean," commented one viewer.
"Always fresh every night. Also only use a towel once. Same with my kids," agreed a second.
"No! When you sleep you sweat. Why would I wear that again?" a third asked.

And a fourth comment - that very nearly made me consider washing my PJs after every single wear - read: "I never rewear PJs... we shed dead skin cells constantly and even though it may not be dirty I can't do it lol."
Thankfully, there were plenty of people who agreed with Allison and assured her that there's nothing strange - or unhygienic - about rewearing your pyjamas for a few days.
"I wear them for like a week straight haha I hate doing laundry," one follower admitted.
"Wait. There [are] people that DON'T wear PJs multiple nights in a row???" another horrified viewer asked.

"Saving the environment and your clothes!" added a third. "If it's not dirty/smelly then why wash it? I wear mine for a week in winter!"
On the total opposite end of the spectrum, other viewers were shocked that people had been wearing pyjamas at all - which actually seems like the only way to win this debate.
