A Madea Homecoming star and creator Tyler Perry has revealed how Beyoncé reacted to his recreation of her iconic Coachella performance in the new Netflix film.
The new movie follows Tyler's popular character Madea as she welcomes her family into town, to celebrate her great grandson, Tim, graduating.
In the closing moments of the film, Madea channels her inner Beyoncé and recreates Queen B's legendary 2018 Coachella concert, as well as scenes from the subsequent Netflix documentary: Beyoncé Homecoming.

He continued: "Before anybody saw it, before Netflix saw it, I sent her a clip."
According to Perry, he asked Beyoncé at the time: "Is this okay? If not, it will never see the light of day. You say yes or no."
