Bridgerton fans have been urged to stick with the Netflix series after complaining that the new season started off on a rather dull note.
Season two of Bridgerton officially dropped last week and, after waiting over a year, fans were eager to sink their teeth back into the steamy drama.
But, compared to season one's sex and scandal, newer episodes of the series have failed to captivate viewers and some are already complaining that they're 'bored'.

However, one Bridgerton fan, who has already finished the entire second season, has urged other viewers to stay strong and power through the first few episodes, insisting that it picks up after episode three.
Posting on a Netflix fan page, the fan wrote: "Okay so earlier today I posted saying i wasn’t enjoying the new season of Bridgerton but i have binged the entire season today and safe to say that i am in awe."
She continued: "The acting, the will they won’t they, honestly everything was amazing. I was so sure that due to a lack of the duke and daphne’s presence in this season it would be full but anthony and kate were everything and more. honestly am so mad there wasn’t more than just the 8 episodes."

Other viewers who had made it through to the finale agreed.
One commented: "I felt the first 2 episodes were a lil slow but after 3rd it explained so much and rest was awesome. Even without the Duke!!"
And a second added: "Totally agree!!! [Wish] there was more to it".

What a relief!
Some fans have also pointed out that there are far fewer sex scenes in season two - a feature that really won viewers over back in season one.
Adoja Andoh, who plays Lady Danbury has since addressed the lack of risqué moments in the new season.

Speaking on Loose Women last week, she explained: "It's differently sexy this season. It's sort of sensuous and a lot more forbidden.
"So when you do get the climax, you get the climax!"
