Encanto fans think they have discovered the true identity of Casita - and it's so convincing.
Posting on Reddit, one fan explained they believe the house is actually the spirit of Pedro, the late patriarch of the Mardigal family.
"The house seems very protective of the entire family and The House knows all the characters' names," they wrote, also adding that "the miracle only happens after Pedro's death."
Others agreed, with one commenting on the thread: "This was my first impression as well."
Meanwhile another person wrote: "It's totally Pedro."
And a third theorised: "Also, their love song when it flashes back to the tragedy is called 'Two Caterpillars' and sings about being separated but needing to grow. Then the magic is shown as butterflies. And so much butterfly imagery in the home and movie. It’s def Pedro."
And a fourth wrote: "Honestly I agree he is the house. I believe he is and even if people say it's not I don't care. I believe it him. He sacrificed to protect them he is the house even at the end."
Hmmm, what do you think?
The new Disney movie follows the Mardigals - a family who live in a beautiful house called Casa Madrigal. Each Madrigal child has been gifted with a magical power - except for one of the children, Mirabel.
While it's never explained why Mirabel does not have a special gift, some Disney fans think they've worked out why.
When Pedro died, a candle held by the matriarch of the family, Abuela, was gifted with magic, which - distributed by Abuela -gives special powers to other family members.
The theory is that each family member's special power is linked to one of their most notable traits, picked out by Abuela.
For example, the fan suggests that Mirabel's mother Julieta has the power to heal because, as the oldest daughter, she was likely Abuela's "little helper" as a child.
The fan wrote: "Mirabel might not have shown any strong inclinations, so Abuela was unsure. Thus Mirabel didn’t receive a power."
Poor Mirabel!
