Harry Potter fans are finding out why one picture in The Daily Prophet doesn't move.
In the franchise's penultimate movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, all the pictures in The Daily Prophet newspaper move - except one.
The picture of the Muggle family is not animated like the others, and fans have just discovered why.

A fan posted their discovery on Reddit, writing: "In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 (2010), the photo of the muggle family in the newspaper isn't moving like the rest of the photos in that paper. This is because that photo was taken with a muggle camera."
Potterheads may recall that non-magic people are referred to as Muggles and they are incapable of performing magic.
They should not be confused with Squibs, who are unable to practice magic but have at least one magical parent.

However not all fans were convinced by the theory. One commenter said the developing solution potion, that is mentioned in the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets book could be used to make Muggle pictures move. Colin Creevey learned this during his first year at Hogwarts, much to his, and our own, delight.
While another commenter theorised: "The photo in the paper is already developed. The newspaper didn't get it from film, they got it as a developed photo."

Similarly, one Reddit said: "Why would they try to get a picture by developing a roll of film instead of a picture that was already printed?"
In other news, Harry Potter fans have only just spotted a hidden link to a crew member in Prisoner of Azkaban.
Posting on Reddit, one Harry Potter fan explained that a painting, featuring in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, is actually a portrait linked to the director of the movie.
