Harry Potter fans have only just noticed a fascinating detail about Harry's clothing in the final film and theories are already swirling across the internet.
The battle of Hogwarts takes place in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 and is the final conflict in the Second Wizarding War.
Though some Potterheads may think they've spotted every easter egg in the film franchise that ended in 2011, one detail that may have been missed is Harry's clothing.

Reddit often compiles the small details missed in the Harry Potter films and one of them is a side-by-side picture of Harry in the final film and an old photo of his father James Potter. The pair are wearing an almost identical outfit consisting of an unzipped jacket and an undershirt.
Similarly, Neville Longbottom and his father, Frank Longbottom, are seen wearing knitted garments with a similar pattern.
Neville also fought during the Battle of Hogwarts after refusing to join Voldemort’s crusade of Death Eaters.

He was also marked by a prophecy as being one of two children with the potential to defeat Voldemort, with other child being Harry.
During the First Wizarding War, Neville’s father fought against Death Eaters as did James Potter, who was later murdered by Voldemort.
One shocked fan said: “I can’t believe I never noticed this before, great eyes!”

A second Reddit user posted: “Yeah that can’t be a coincidence”
One fan shared their theory about Neville’s jumper: “I don’t clearly remember , but neville live with his grandmother maybe he borrowed his clothes since he is older and they fit him now? That's my guess”.
Another Reddit theory stated: “In Harry's case, a coincidence but I'd say Neville meant to wear his father's clothes. The writers definitely meant it for both though.”

While one Potterhead joked: “I mean, my dad wears Hawaiian shirts and so do I. Seems believable.”
