Good Morning Britain: Kate Garraway Makes Dig At Prince Harry

Kate Garraway called out Prince Harry live on air during Friday's show.

Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway made a dig at Prince Harry during Friday's show.

Watch the video below:

Prince Harry spoke at the virtual summit this week for mental health start-up BetterUp, a company that provides services such as professional coaching, counselling and mentorship.

He also serves as Chief Impact Officer for the company and while speaking with the firm's CEO Alexi Robichaux and tennis player Serena Williams, the Duke of Sussex said "mental fitness is the pinnacle".

A clip from the interview was played on Good Morning Britain, in which he added: "It’s called inner work for a reason, and I think that immediately might put some people off, going, ‘more work?’ It’s like, 'why?’ but the outer work becomes so much easier once you get to grips with the inner work."

Once the clip had played, Kate said that in her opinion, if someone says they are doing the ‘inner work’ on themselves, it could mean they ‘haven’t done the outer work.’

When the topic of Bafta nominations came up later in the show, Garraway, Ben Shepherd and Richard Arnold further discussed Prince Harry’s interview. The hosts discussed whether a new category should be added to celebrate outstanding talent.

The 54-year-old host quipped: “Well there’s another excuse – from Prince Harry this morning we’ve got ‘we’re too busy on our inner work to do any outer work’ and we’re too talented for awards, Richard!’”

The three hosts then shared a joke about Prince Harry’s comments in his interview.

Prince Harry debuted his new 'American' haircut during the summit which has led to countless thirsty comments online.

One person gushed: “Prince Harry looking fiiinnneee!! Wow, does California look good on him or what?"
