Jamal is the son of Loose Women panellist Brenda Edwards, who was watching from her home. During the emotional tribute, Charlene White and Judi Love could be seen breaking down in tears as they played a throwback clip of Jamal on the show in November 2021.

"Her heart was full of so much love for them.
"So you'll know just how shocked Brenda is and just how it's hit all of us who knew him and all of us who love Brenda. We want to do Brenda proud."
Charlene - who was also joined by panellists Frankie Bridge, Linda Robson and Carol McGiffin - added: "I know Brenda is watching today and she has told us she wants us to give her a smile and a laugh like only her Loose Women ladies can.
"So we've got some classic debates. We're talking caravans. Are they your idea of holiday hell? Brenda, I know you'll love that one."
