Tonight's explosive episode of Love Island began with a recoupling that saw the boy islanders pick the girls they wanted to be with.
After Jacques decided to leave the island in emotional scenes, his partner Paige was single and bombshell Adam opted to be in a couple with her. Watch Jacques' departure below:
Now, as Paige and Adam get to know each other better, fans think they've spotted a 'clue' that she's already forgotten about Jacques.

One Twitter user wrote: "Was Paige stroking Adam's arm? U moved on quick Paige."
"Jaques watching paige play with Adams arm in bed [sic]," observed another with a meme.
A third speculated about Jacques' reaction, writing: "jacques at home watching paige stroke adam's arm in bed [sic]."
"Not Paige caressing Adam’s arm," wrote a fourth viewer. "[Jacques] hasn't even unpacked or done his laundry yet."

"Jacques pulling the tactical move of leaving to make Paige forgive him, only to get home and see her stroking Adam's arm in bed," added a fifth.
A sixth similarly wrote: "Can't deal with Paige and Adam… stroking his arm in bed like she's loved him for years MOVED ON REAL FAST DIDNT YA [sic]."
The pair's chemistry didn't go unnoticed more generally, and some viewers referred back to Jacques' promise to pick Paige up from the airport once her time on the show ends.

One wrote: "Hope Jacques has room for Adam when he's picking up Paige."
Jacques left the island following many issues with Paige, claiming that he was not able to be his best self in the Love Island environment but that he'd be waiting for her on the outside.
Prior to the rugby player's departure, his family took to his social media account to reveal that he has ADHD and struggles with his emotions as a result.

They wrote: "Jacques was diagnosed with ADHD when he was 9 years old.
"By no means is this a get out clause for his actions but it is to show that he can fundamentally struggle with his emotions at times.
"He is an amazing person who I'm proud to call my friend/little brother. All the hate thrown towards Jacques doesn’t go to him directly… It comes to his loved ones who have always supported him and not just whilst he is on Love Island."
His family then asked fans of the show to 'be kind' when commenting on the islanders' behaviour.
